Sunshine, downtime, and happiness on Easter

Things are a lot better in my world this week. Everything has improved, or, at least my perception of it has improved.

A luxurious amount of time was spent lying on the grass in the sunshine and in the hammock this weekend. In addition, there was the usual lovely Easter celebrating and joy. Good food, a relatively clean house, karaoke, lots of sleep and listening to music made the weekend deeply restorative and a reminder of life’s simple gifts.

Unconditional love and forgiveness are given to us as God’s children and we should expect nothing less of ourselves. Thinking about choosing to love the world as it is and forgiving others “for they know not what they do” bring peace and love to my heart today.
